MANILA, Philippines – Ford Philippines partnered with Fondo Manila on April 25 to hold a two-day cycling event called Northern Expedition. Forty participants, made up of professional and recreational cyclists, geared up for this two-day bicycle ride, during which they cycled 80 kilometers on Halsema Highway—the highest highway in the Philippines, reaching a staggering elevation point of 7,400 meters—and 70 kilometers via Ambuklao Road near Baguio City. Three all-new Ford EcoSport units were used as support and gear vehicles throughout this challenging journey.
“The all-new EcoSport is full of innovative and practical features that help make life easier, including twenty practical storage spaces, ample room for utmost comfort and a versatile cargo space, enough to fit 705 liters of space,” said Minnie Valencia-Bustamante, vice president, Marketing and Sales, Ford Philippines. “Add that on top of its stylish and fuel efficient package, the EcoSport truly is a one of a kind vehicle for all your urban adventure needs.”
The all-new EcoSport is set to attract a new generation of urban customers searching for an all-round vehicle to explore the city. “We share in the excitement of our customers with the on-going deliveries of the all-new EcoSport,” said Valencia-Bustamante.
