Powered by the Ford Academy, a regional training programme aimed to enhance dealership competence and capability, the Ranger Specialist Certification Program is an intensive three-day training programme designed to equip the Ford sales team with comprehensive product knowledge of the All-New Ford Ranger and enhanced sales techniques. The program consists of lectures and workshops on the product features and is conducted by a series of discussions, role-playing, product analyses and experiential test drives.
"Today's automotive landscape is highly competitive in all market segments, and exceeding our customer expectations is an absolute priority at Ford. We believe that a best-in-class vehicle like the All-New Ranger must be complemented by best-in-class sales consultants who ensure that each and every customer is completely satisfied," said Margo Delfinado, Ford Academy Manager.
Apart from taking the Ranger on a regular test drive on paved city roads, the Ranger Specialists were also given the opportunity to experience the vehicle on a test track, allowing them to appreciate Ranger’s power, features and capabilities. Additionally, Ranger Specialists will participate in a basic 4x4 off-road training course.
Ford plans to open eleven new dealerships across the Philippines in 2012, helping to support the introduction of the All-New Ford Ranger. The All-New Ranger will make its Philippine debut at the 2012 Manila International Auto Show in March.
The All-New Ranger is the first of eight All-New One Ford global vehicles to be launched in ASEAN by mid-decade, helping to significantly expand Ford’s showroom lineup in the Philippines and introduce the brand to many new customer segments.
