PARIS, France – Ford Kuga has been crowned Best Tow Car by French magazine Le Monde du Plein Air for the second year in succession.
Kuga saw off 20 rivals to win the prestigious prize after a jury of journalists assessed the contenders for driving quality, fuel consumption, comfort, equipment and price/performance ratio.
The Ford Kuga 2.0 TDCi 4x4 impressed the judges with its performance, driving aids, safety and driving dynamics, plus its sure-footed all-wheel drive system. Its maximum towing capacity of 2100 kg is one of the highest in its class and Kuga also comes equipped with ESP featuring electronic trailer stability control.
Managing editor Olivier Lemaire presented the award to Ford director Philippe Flon at the 48th Salon of Recreational Vehicles.
“We are very pleased to receive this award which recognizes our efforts to offer vehicles adapted to the needs of users of trailers and caravans,” said Philippe Flon. “Ford attaches great importance to this very demanding clientele.”
