JAKARTA, Indonesia — Ford Motor Indonesia (FMI) officially kicked-off the video voting period for the finalists of the 'Drive-Connect-Win' campaign. Launched early this year, the interactive campaign invited Indonesian consumers to experience and share Ford's leading connectivity system embedded in Ford’s leading nameplates.
Out of more than 600 entries, only three finalists were selected, and each of the finalists has filmed their respective superior connectivity challenge over the past few weeks. Each video showcases the finalist’s story about how the connectivity of the Fiesta, all-new Ranger and all-new Focus benefits their professional life or lifestyle.
Fachri Anggi Maulana, an active college student, took the girl of his dreams on a romantic journey with the Ford Fiesta. Using a Bluetooth-enabled phone connected to the Fiesta, Fachri contacted his friends to prepare a surprise proposal to her.
"The Bluetooth with voice command connectivity system is amazing. It makes it easy for me to make or receive phone calls. I also used it to surprise my girl by playing her favorite tunes on our romantic journey," he said. "I am very happy to see a smile on her face. Thanks, Fiesta!"
Giri Satrio shared his experience of how the Bluetooth with voice command aboard the all-new Ranger helped him to stay connected with his colleagues on the ground, while taming the dirt roads at a mountainous area of Garut, West Java.
"As a supervisor at a telecommunication service provider, I am in charge of maintaining the relay towers. As some of them are located in remote areas, I often have to drive off the road," said Giri. "With the all-new Ranger, I no longer dread driving off the beaten track as it is tough and reliable. With all the comfort the Ranger offers, I can even enjoy the journey. I am in love with the all-new Ranger!"
A very active entrepreneur, Rambang Basari admired the outstanding connectivity system of the all-new Focus. It has helped him many times in coordinating with his staff for business related affairs.
"The all-new Focus is packed with many smart features. I love Ford SYNC the most. It allows me to do many business-related things, including conference calls, meeting preparation, and many more," praised Rambang, who owns an outdoor promotion firm. "SYNC allows me to stay connected while keeping my hands on the wheel and eyes on the road."

Videos of the three finalists are posted on Ford Indonesia’s official Facebook page - www.facebook.com/FordIndonesia. Starting from April 10 to May 12, the general public is invited to view and vote for their favorite. Online voters will be automatically entered into a weekly lucky draw, which will be held during the voting phase.
Following the voting phase, FMI will announce the ‘Drive-Connect-Win’ finalist who received the most fan votes. The lucky winner will drive away with the ultimate prize – an all-new Focus Sport Sedan 2.0L GDI TiVCT in Mustard Olive.
