JAKARTA, Indonesia — Ford Indonesia successfully trialled the Midnight Sale marketing concept recently at Ford TB Simatupang in Jakarta.
The five-hour event – which ran from 8pm to 1am – attracted more than 100 customers and helped facilitate the sale of 11 vehicles, the equivalent of one vehicle every 30 minutes.
"For the Midnight Sale, we personally invited customers to visit our showroom. In this way, they could experience the comfort and completeness of our facility, while checking out Ford's product offerings," said Fitria, branch manager, Ford TB Simatupang.
"We provided special promotions and discounts for customers who sealed a deal at this event. This included an iPad giveaway for the first ten bookings during the evening. And to make this special event even more attractive, we also provided interactive games and invited a pop band," added Fitria.
Many of the customers were attracted to the kinetic design and advanced features of the popular Ford Fiesta, which accounted for 9 out of the 11 total bookings.
Ford TB Simatupang is Ford's largest dealership in Indonesia and is operated by PT Selaras Nusa Abadi. Located in an upper class area in South Jakarta, the 1,500-square-meter showroom stands on a 5,000-square-meter lot. It boasts a full-service 3S facility providing sales, service and spare parts.
