JAKARTA, Indonesia – Ford Motor Indonesia (FMI) continues the expansion of its nationwide dealer network with the official opening of four new 3S (sales, service, and spare parts) facilities in Bekasi, Cibubur, Batam and a second outlet in Surabaya. The official opening of the new dealerships brings to 44 the total number of authorized Ford dealers nationwide.
"The continued expansion of our Ford dealer network is helping support our product-led transformation in Indonesia, and further enhancing convenience through a wider network of dealer showrooms and facilities," said Matt Bradley, president, Ford ASEAN, who joined the dealer principals from each of the new Ford dealerships at the grand opening celebration which took place at Ford Nusantara Bekasi, Jakarta.
"In addition to introducing segment-leading One Ford vehicles, we are absolutely committed to making the Ford brand more accessible to our customers here in Indonesia and across the region," he added.
Ford Nusantara Bekasi dealership is one of the largest Ford dealerships in the ASEAN region. Built on 4,700 sqm of land, Ford Nusantara Bekasi boasts a 4,200 sqm, two-story building layout that features a 16-vehicle showroom and 14-vehicle servicing capacity.
"Our investment in this new facility underscores our confidence in the One Ford plan, and will allow us to welcome even more customers into our showroom and provide a world-class customer experience," said Joe Ferry, dealer principal, Ford Nusantara Bekasi.
All four Ford new outlets are built according to Ford’s Brand@Retail global design standard, which translates Ford’s pillars of Quality, Green, Safe and Smart to the dealership’s physical space and enhances the Ford customer experience.
The Brand@Retail layout and interface also helps deliver a new look and feel that is both comforting and customer-friendly. The use of more natural lighting, low-power LED illumination and many water-saving measures helps to make each of the Ford dealerships more environmentally sustainable.
"As we continue to introduce even more segment-leading One Ford vehicles to Indonesia, the ongoing network expansion of our Ford dealer network will help support our continued growth in the market and ensure that we are providing the very best customer and ownership experience," said Bagus Susanto, managing director, FMI.
