KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia – Ford in Malaysia recently picked up three more awards – two for the all-new Focus and one for the all-new Ranger.
In the Autocar ASEAN Car of the Year Awards, the Ranger beat six other contenders to win Pick-up Truck of Year, while the Focus leap-frogged over 11 other models to be named Midsize Sedan/Hatchback of the Year.
The Focus was also runner-up in the Sedan of the Year category in the STUFF magazine Readers’ Choice Awards.
These awards bring the total number of awards won by Ford in Malaysia in 2012 to seven, with the Ranger dominating the New Straits Times-Maybank Car of the Year awards, capturing Overall Car of the Year in addition to Pick-up Truck of the Year and the Focus earning the Family Car of the Year title.
Separately, the Ranger was also named Best Value for Money Pick-up Truck by the Asian Auto Allianz Auto Industry Awards.
