COLOGNE, Germany – A social media campaign launched to celebrate the arrival of Ford EcoSport in Germany has been hailed a huge success after generating 2.23 million hits.
The Ford Ecosport Challenge, which consisted of eight teams tackling six special challenges in the smallest member of Ford’s SUV family, started in March and finished at the end of June with a special concert staged at in Berlin.
Wolfgang Kopplin, Managing Director, Ford-Werke GmbH, said: "The online campaign for the launch of our new lifestyle SUV Ford EcoSport has generated levels of interest we did not think possible. All the teams taking part worked feverishly and they surprised us with their unusual ideas."
