MELBOURNE, Australia – During the next two months, Ford will be conducting the Ford Smart Drive for National Breast Cancer Foundation program. Under this program, Ford will be visiting various businesses and other commercial locations offering five-minute test drives that demonstrate the Smart features of the Ford Focus Titanium. For every test drive taken, Ford will contribute A$10 to NBCF.
Ford Australia has also relaunched the Piece-by-Piece campaign – an online mosaic of images built by those people committed to solving the puzzle of breast cancer. This year Ford has refreshed this campaign and will donate A$1 for every photo uploaded to the online mosaic (up to A$100,000) They will also give A$1 for every image shared or liked on Facebook.
Supporters are also invited to add some inspiring words, or an in-memoriam message to accompany their image.
Some of the messages posted include one from Jennifer, who wrote, "I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2009 at 39 years of age. Research gives me hope for the future, which is why I choose to support the National Breast Cancer Foundation."
And Sheree posted, “In memory of my beautiful Mum - one step closer to finding a cure for breast cancer.”
