AUSTRIA – The Focus was the top performer in a four-car C-segment comparison test carried out by Austria’s AutoRevue.
The publication compared the new Hyundai i30 1.6 CRDI Premium with the popular Focus 2.0 TDCi Titanium, VW Golf 2.0 TDI Highline and Opel Astra 1.7 CDTi Cosmo.
The models were assessed across a six parameters - appearance, driving pleasure, space and comfort, safety emotion and economy.
The result: The Focus came out top, top-scoring in all six categories. The Golf was second, jointly top-scoring in five categories, but slipping behind the Ford on emotion.
