DEARBORN - As household sizes across the U.S. grow, the all-new Ford Focus also is growing a family of its own. More customers are looking to Ford to meet their needs – whether its fuel efficiency, performance or technology Focus delivers.
“Focus brings a desirable combination of dynamic design, outstanding driver engagement, unmatched levels of technology and impressive fuel economy,” said Mark Fields, president, The Americas. “The new model should expand Focus appeal to a whole new generation of customers.”
From clean engines to electric motors
Delivering up to 40 mpg, the 2.0-liter DOHC engine combines high-pressure gasoline direct injection and twin independent variable camshaft timing (Ti-VCT) for enhanced performance and fuel efficiency.
On the greener side of the spectrum, Ford also offers the all-new Ford Focus Electric for customers looking at fuel-free vehicles.
Based on a real car platform, Focus Electric not only offers outstanding energy efficiency and reliable operation but also delivers real driving enjoyment.
Focus Electric provides a special version of MyFord Touch® and introduces MyFord® Mobile, a smartphone app and website for monitoring key vehicle functions and charge settings while mobile.
A new breed of performance
While the all-new Focus delivers on its promise of fun-to-drive, the introduction of the Focus ST takes performance to new heights.
The five-door Focus ST delivers the same driving attributes that make all Ford ST models stand out. The chassis, 2.0-liter Ford EcoBoost® engine, sound and comfort of the car are tuned to deliver a truly sporty experience combined with a high level of refinement. Plus there are unique signature colors such as Tangerine Scream.
From Ford’s signature trapezoidal grille at the front through the sculpted side skirts and dynamic rear bumper with prominent diffuser-style vents in the lower fascia, Focus ST’s design adds aggression and aerodynamic stability compared to the base models.
