Fleet Fraternity Feted at President's Dinner

DATE: Will be calculated from "Release Start Date" field.

NEW DELHI, India — For Ford India's fleet fraternity, it wasn't just a chance to celebrate but also an opportunity to catch a glimpse of Ford's future roadmap for one of the world's fastest-growing auto markets.

The Annual President's Dinner brought together 65 fleet delegates, ranging corporate CEOs and other senior executives, car rental companies, leasing partners, government departments and key financiers.

The event aimed to educate and strengthen ties with Ford's strategic partners while also providing a forum to demonstrate and experience Ford's latest All-New Fiesta Automatic sedan with Powershift.

Ford India President and Managing Director Michael Boneham, who hosted the dinner, thanked the fleet owners for their ongoing co-operation and share with them an audio-visual presentation highlighting the Ford success story in India. He also gave them a perspective of the eight new products Ford plans to launch here by mid-decade.

"We are proud of the relationship that we have built over the years and I hope that we will share the future ahead with that same enthusiasm as we continue to expand our line-up in India,'' Boneham said. " You will get to experience the technological edge we are trying to provide with the All-New Fiesta AT, and this trend will continue in all our exciting models soon coming to India."

The delegates had the opportunity to talk with senior Ford management including Boneham, Nigel Wark, executive director, Marketing, Sales and Service, and N. Raja, vice president, Sales.

They were also provided with a sneak preview of Ford's latest offering in India—the All-New Fiesta Automatic with first-in-class Powershift technology. The sedan was the show-stealer with many delegates joining aa Ride-and-Drive and coming back impressed with the premium sedan's advanced features and capabilities.

"The Fiesta has many technologically advanced and customer-centric features. The mileage claim in the segment is interesting and one of the best available. Very good, well-planned and executed," said Sandeep Manhas, a delegate from Kotak Mahindra Prime Ltd after driving the All-New Fiesta. "Very interactive and cordial discussions with the Ford team and other guests. Overall, a nice experience, felt great to be a part of the event," he added.

Boneham added that, "we want to emphasize that in addition to the world-class cars we build, there is also a world-class service infrastructure for the fleet owners to get their vehicles serviced. The overall service experience at Ford service centres is much more satisfactory and you will be happy to know that our number of outlets has crossed 200."

"This is an occasion to thank you for your continued support. We look forward to your participation, feedback and intense engagement as we prepare to elevate everything we do," said N. Raja.
