DEARBORN - Through mid-August, approximately 23,000 of the 65,000 retirees eligible for the General Retirement Plan (GRP) lump sum payment offer will have received a Decision Guide and Election Kit containing complete information about the offering.
To help retirees better understand the financial and tax aspects of the options, Ford is making available educational resources at no cost to the participant. These resources will be offered by Deloitte Consulting, an objective, third-party organization. We encourage retirees who are within their election period to attend a Group Session and a one-on-one session. An Excel-based modeling tool is also available on myfordbenefits.com.

Deloitte Consulting has begun conducting financial and tax education Group Sessions in over 25 cities for those who are in a current election period.
