DAVENTRY, England - The Fiesta continues to win rally titles around the world.
SOUTH AFRICA: Conrad Rautenbach and co-driver Nicolas Klinger have been confirmed as South African Rally Champions after the results of the fourth round of the campaign, the Toyota Gauteng Dealer Rally in June, were declared null and void by a Motorsport South Africa National Court of Appeal. The Zimbabwean/French duo triumphed on three of the seven events during the season in their Green Fuel-backed Fiesta S2000, to clinch the title by 15 points.
SOUTH AMERICA: In South America, second place in the Rally Pagos del Tuyú proved sufficient for Federico Villagra to secure an impressive 10th Argentine Rally Championship. The 'Coyote' – a WRC stalwart with the Munchi’s Ford World Rally team – tallied six wins from 10 starts in his Maxi Rally-specification Ford Fiesta.
MIDDLE EAST: Nasser Al-Attiyah produced a tremendous performance to lift the FIA Middle East Rally Championship with victory in the recent 33rd Dubai International Rally, yielding the Qatari's seventh title. Fellow Fiesta S2000 driver Sheikh Abdullah Al Qassimi finished third.
