GOODWOOD, England – The Fiesta ST will be one of the stars of the Moving Motor Show, a new car exhibition held within the grounds of Goodwood Park in southern England as a prelude to the annual Festival of Speed motoring event (12-14 July).
Staged on July 11, the MMS is presented for the first time this year by RAC Cars, the Royal Automobile Club’s used car website.
Four Fiesta ST-2 models will be used to provide exhilarating rides on Goodwood’s famous hill-climb course for Ford guests and competition winners. Additionally, Ford will stage a static display featuring the Fiesta ST and a Fiesta XR2 from the company’s heritage collection.
Following its success over the past three years, the Moving Motor Show is expected to be the biggest yet staged, with a record number of world and UK new car debuts. Twenty vehicles manufacturers will be taking part.
The Festival of Speed has grown to become Britain’s largest annual automotive exhibition, attracting in excess of 185,000 visitors in 2012. The Supercar Run and First Glance have become key attractions at the Festival, enabling manufacturers to showcase their latest models in action. Models making their public debuts will include the McLaren P1 and Vencer Sarthe.
