DATE: Will be calculated from "Release Start Date" field.

DEARBORN -- Felicia Fields, group vice president, Ford Human Resources and Corporate Services, has been selected to receive a Michigan Human Resource Executive of the Year award from the American Society of Employers (ASE).

According to ASE, the award "recognizes meritorious work by executives in the field of Human Resources Management, and distinguishes those who represent the best in their profession."

Fields, a third-generation Ford employee, was selected for the honor in the category of firms with 1,000 or more employees.  She will receive her award Oct. 28 when ASE hosts its Sixth Annual Summit at the Ritz-Carlton in Dearborn.

"Of all my years in business, I've never met a finer group of HR professionals than those at Ford.  This award is really a reflection of their outstanding work," said Fields.

Delivering the keynote address at the summit will be Mark Fields, Ford executive vice president and president of The Americas.

ASE is a not-for-profit employer association with over 1,000 member firms in Michigan. Headquartered in Southfield, Mich., ASE provides Human Resources expertise and assistance, including research, surveys, government affairs and training, to firms of all sizes in all industries, both for-profit and non-profit, throughout the state.
