SRI LANKA - Ford Motor Company selected the Fire Prevention in Knuckles Forest Reserve project as the winning entry in its Environmental Conservation and Grants program in Sri Lanka. The project will receive $10,000 to take steps to minimize the damage caused by forest fires in the southern border of the Knuckles Forest Reserve in the central highlands of Sri Lanka.

Oman’s Team Qadiroon Wins Ford Focus Rabaa Rally

DUBAI, UAE – Oman’s Team Qadiroon won the Ford Focus Rabaa inter-GCC Rally challenge. Ford Middle East announced the winners following the conclusion of the final rally challenge in Dubai’s Burj Khalifa. Al-Yaqdan Alhooti, an avid supporter of the challenge who scored the most points in the online challenges, won in the “Pit Crew” or Ford Focus Rabaa Fan category. All winning team members and Al-Yaqdan Alhooti will receive a new 2012 Ford Focus.
