DEARBORN - Of the 7 million new cars Americans are expected to buy this year, one-third are expected to be in the midsize segment. That’s great news for Ford it launches its all-new 2013 Ford Fusion.
All this week and into next week, the company is making news about the Fusion.
Then on Tuesday, Sept. 18, there will be five celebrations occurring around the U.S. – in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Miami and Dearborn to highlight the official launch.
At these events, media will drive and employees will celebrate the all-new Fusion. Ford executives, including President and CEO Alan Mulally (New York), Group Vice President of Global Marketing, Sales and Service Jim Farley (New York), President of The Americas Mark Fields (Los Angeles), Chief Technical Officer and Vice President of Ford Research and Innovation Paul Mascarenas (Miami), Group Vice President of Design and Chief Creative Officer J Mays (San Francisco) and Group Vice President of Global Product Development Raj Nair (Dearborn), will be on hand at events across the U.S. showcasing Fusion highlights, including its stellar fuel economy.
Again, employees are encouraged to take the company’s Fusion news well beyond Dearborn, especially through social media channels.
