COLOGNE, Germany – Yesterday was Fiesta Day and employees around Europe took the opportunity to see the next-generation of Ford’s popular small model and find out more about its impressive array of technology features.
The pan-European employee event, which continues today, marked the sales launch of New Fiesta. To celebrate that event, Fiesta models were put on display at Ford offices and plants throughout Europe.
In addition to the opportunity to appreciate New Fiesta’s impressive new interior and exterior design, employees were also able to watch a demonstration of SYNC, Ford’s industry-leading in-car connection system.
The launch of new Fiesta will be supported by an extensive promotional programme which includes TV commercials, print and outdoor advertising and digital and social media activities.
As part of that launch campaign, Ford is inviting motorists to submit ideas describing how they would spend 24 hours with the new small car.
In Germany, where the car goes on sale tomorrow, Ford has released a video showing how aspiring singer Leslie Clio spent her 24 hours with a Fiesta. Similar videos are appearing in other markets.
In recent weeks, more than 40,000 Fiestas have been manufactured in the Cologne plant for dispatch to dealers in Germany and other European markets.
