DEARBORN - Today, under the provisions of the 2011 UAW-Ford Collective Bargaining Agreement, all eligible Ford hourly employees received a profit-sharing payment. Below is the letter of congratulations to the Ford team on this accomplishment from Ford President of The Americas Joe Hinrichs.
Dear Ford Team Members,
Congratulations once again! Based on Ford’s financial performance in North America in 2013, and as agreed in the UAW-Ford national collective bargaining agreement, we are confirming today that profit sharing payments will be made to eligible U.S. hourly employees March 13. These payments will reflect the company’s North America financial performance for the full-year 2013.
The total average payment amount for 2013 profit sharing represents the highest distribution in the company’s history – a true testament to the One Ford philosophy of profitable growth for all. These payments only are possible thanks to the Go Further approach each of you bring to your jobs each day.
We all share a passion for making Ford successful. By working together, we continue to give our customers every reason to make Ford their brand of choice. For 2014, Ford is embarking on its most aggressive year yet with 16 product launches in North America. In order to maintain Ford’s growth and success, we ask for your continued support and commitment to quality and craftsmanship.
This is an exciting journey for all of us and we can look forward to sharing and celebrating further progress and success. Thank you for all that you do and, again, congratulations.
