PARIS, France – Ford Driving Skills for Life, Ford’s free young driver education programme, gets underway in France next week, following highly successful launches in the UK, Germany, Spain and Italy.
The first French hands-on training sessions will take place from Monday to Wednesday at the HEC Paris Jouy -en- Josas campus where 300 young motorists will be given expert tuition in safer driving.
In France, as in Europe, traffic accidents are the leading cause of death among young adults. People aged 18-24 account for less than 10 per cent of population in France, yet more than 20 per cent of those killed on French roads are from this age group.
