Safety Walks
DTD Joint Leadership conducts weekly Safety walks at 10 a.m. every WEDNESDAY.
Special attention includes:
· Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Gloves, Sleeves, Glasses and Head Protection
· Container Labeling
· Safe Driving Practices
· Aisles Kept Clear
· Panels Stored Properly
· Housekeeping: wood, hoses and paper on floor
· DTD Employees gave 22 pints of blood to the American Red Cross

Magazine Racks You will notice that DTD now has magazine racks located through out the plant. The magazine racks with house monthly newsletters and @Ford magazines.
DTD Recognition Events
The last week of March, DTD hosted it's First Quarter Recognition Event for 2013. We recognizing those employees with Anniversary Awards. A big congratulations to those with 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40 and even 45 years!! It was great to hear all of your stories of how you came to work at DTD!
Also, DTD recognized the following people for their outstanding effort over the last year training our new MSP's (machine specialist). Their diligence and dedication has made a huge impact to these new employees and has resulted in a high level of capability of our Machine Department Workforce. Time and time again, they went above and beyong to ensure that these trainees were given the tools and encouragement to suceed.

The DTD ERT Team was also recognized for winning Ford's 2012 President's Health & Safety Award and their copntinuous support to the Tool & Die unit.
