BRENTWOOD, England - Dan Cammish edged ever closer to the Dunlop MSA Formula Ford Championship crown at Snetterton over the weekend winning all three rounds at the Norfolk circuit.
In so doing, he equalled the record for the most number of wins scored in a single Formula Ford season (18) established by Scott Malvern in 2011.
Such was Cammish’s dominance at Snetterton, he qualified on pole for all three races in his JTR Mygale car and then won them from lights to flag.
Afterwards Cammish said: “I’m not knocking this success but I need some competition to keep me sharp; for the sake of my own driving I need someone to race now. I don’t know what to say other than the team has done a superb job for me I can’t thank them enough for what they have given me.”
Cammish can clinch the title later this month when the championship heads north of the border to Knockhill in Fife.
