COLOGNE, Germany - @Ford Online’s series of in-depth interviews with senior Ford of Europe executives continues this month with Gunnar Herrmann, vice president, Quality.
Gunnar Herrmann became vice president of Quality, Ford of Europe, in September last year. He was previously vehicle line director, Global C-Segment Vehicles, Ford Product Development, a position he had held since 2002. Born in Leverkusen in 1959, he graduated in automotive engineering from the University of Hamburg.
He also holds a Master of Science degree in advanced automotive engineering from the University of Loughborough in the UK. He joined Ford in 1986, working first in body engineering at Ford's Merkenich engineering centre in Germany.
