MADRID, Spain – Ford’s ground-breaking B-MAX has been crowned "2013 Family Car" by a group of influential magazines in Spain.
Readers of Car and Driver, MiCasa, Casa Diez and Crecer Feliz, were asked to vote for their favourite vehicles in eight different categories and they chose B-MAX ahead of 11 competitors in the family car segment.
Agustin de Tena, Car and Driver's director in Spain. presented Ford of Spain’s marketing director Santiago Sainz with a Car and Driver’s Award in Madrid this week to mark the achievement.
Ford has achieved great success in the annual Car and Driver’s Awards since their inception 18 years ago.
Previous winners include: Ka and Focus (Innovative Car) in 1997 and 2012, Ka and Focus ST (Young Car) in 1999 and 2008, Focus and S-MAX (Family Car) in 2000 and 2011, and Fiesta and Focus CC (Woman’s Car) in 2009 and 2010.
