LONDON – The S-MAX has been voted Large MPV of the year in the 2011 awards presented by BusinessCar, a UK-based publication for fleet cars and suppliers. Ford won the same title last year, although with the Galaxy.
Award winners are chosen by the readers of BusinessCar's magazine, website and email newsletters. Eighteen awards are presented annually, covering various motoring segments and suppliers.
The S-MAX won its first BusinessCar MPV award in 2007, when it was introduced in the market. At the time, the publication said the model proved that people carriers "did not have to be dull to look at or to drive."
