MELBOURNE, Australia — The all-new Ford Ranger continues to impress.
The Ranger has picked up numerous awards across Asia Pacific and Africa since its launch, and has now clocked up another gong, this time as the 2012 Delivery Magazine Ute of the Year.
The award was handed to the Ranger for both its 4x2 and 4x4 models.
“By starting with a clean sheet of paper, the design of this model range reflects new thinking and a better approach than that displayed by its competitors,” the magazine said.
The magazine added that the Australian design team played a crucial role in the development of the Ranger, “adding an Australian component of experience that should be greatly valued by the manufacturer.”
The all-new Ford Ranger was developed with the highest standards of safety, fuel-efficiency, performance and comfort, and is totally new from the ground up.
The pickup is also packed with smart technologies that make it easier, safer and more fun to drive. The powertrains have also been engineered to give customers a superior combination of power and torque at class-leading fuel efficiency.
