MOSCOW, Russia – Ford dealers in Russia have started taking orders for the all-new, award-winning Kuga.
With prices starting at 899 000 Russian roubles (approximately €22,500), Ford’s smart utility vehicle (SUV) will be offered in four series: Trend, Trend Plus, Titanium and Titanium Plus.
Russian customers can choose one of eight original colours: Ginger Ale, Frozen White, Sterling Grey, Burnished Glow, Moondust Silver, Panther Black, Ink Blue, Blazer Blue.
The all-new Ford Kuga offers a wide range of innovative technologies unique for the SUV segment in Russia, including: EcoBoost petrol engines, segment-first hands-free tailgate, Active City Stop system, Ford’s Intelligent All-Wheel Drive system, and Enhanced Torque Vectoring Control.
New Kuga will be built at the Ford Sollers plant in Elabuga. Ted Cannis, President and CEO, Ford Sollers, said: “The all-new Ford Kuga has become smarter and more practical. The New Ford Kuga was awarded a maximum five-star rating by Euro NCAP and the Euro NCAP 2012 Best-in-Class award. The vehicle is equipped with the Active City Stop system and Blind Spot Information System (BLIS).
The model also offers the Ford SYNC with Russian voice control and Active Park Assist system.
