COLOGNE, Germany - Ford of Germany has handed over 200 C-MAXs to the German Automobile Association ADAC. The country’s largest automobile club will use the cars as replacement vehicles for its “ADAC Plus” members. They can also be rented individually.
The compact multi-activity vehicles are equipped with a 140 PS 2.0 litre diesel engine delivering 55.3 mpg (5.1 l/100km) and CO2 emissions of 134 g/km. All vehicles have a Ford navigation system and Sound & Connect package including voice control, Bluetooth connectivity and a USB interface. A parking aid, leather steering wheel and gear knob and seat heating are also standard features.
The silver C-MAX’s will be available to ADAC Plus members after an accident or breakdown. During repair, the club will provide a free replacement vehicle for up to seven days.
