1903 Ford Model A Makes a Home in Franschhoek Motor Museum

DATE: Will be calculated from "Release Start Date" field.

FRANSCHHOEK, South Africa— The Franschhoek Motor Museum, which  offers visitors a special opportunity to look back at more than 100 years of motoring history. A very special 1903 Ford Model A is now also a part of this collection of vehicles, motorcycles, bicycles and memorabilia.

The 1903 Ford Model A is of historic significance as it is the first Ford vehicle to ever have been exported out of the North American continent and the first Ford ever to come to South Africa.

The model is very similar to the 1903 car that Bill Ford bought and restored recently to take part in the Henry Ford 150 year celebrations.
While the Franschhoek Motor Museum has many other beautiful Ford models in their collection, this particular model has drawn great enthusiasm from visitors.
