 Romeo Engine Employee’s Son Captures Olympic Glory

Recently, @Ford put out a call for all those employees, agency/contract as well as retirees with a connection to the Olympics, Paralympics and Senior Olympics.  Over the coming days, @Ford will share our Blue Oval Olympian stories.  Click here for the first installment, which includes an Olympian’s parent, a drummer, a diver, a long distance runner, and more.

Martin Peter’s son Jordan is nearly 21 years old and has been a Special Olympics athlete since he was 8 years old.

He competes in soccer skills in October at Halmich Park in Warren, Mich., and in ramp bowling at the Summer Games at CMU in Mount Pleasant, Mich., in June.

This year, he won a gold medal in doubles bowling and a bronze medal in singles bowling.

In the past, he’s participated in swimming at the Summer Games. Over all, he has a total of 60 gold, silver and bronze medals.
