Havering Sixth Form Students Seek Help in Mock Interviewing Skills from Ford Volunteers

DATE: Will be calculated from "Release Start Date" field.

The Mock Interview day at Havering Sixth Form College on the Feb. 12 was a real success this year.

Employees from Ford Motor Company conducted over 120 interviews with the college’s level 2 learners.

The students have commented that they found the experience extremely useful. The process provided them with the vital opportunity to experience the full interview experience, from application to receiving feedback.

Stuart Pallister, team leader of Learning Beyond the Classroom noted, “The Ford volunteers were fantastic. I cannot stress how appreciative I am for their flexible, hardworking and positive approach. They conducted the interviews in a professional manner throughout. Indeed, the students valued the detailed written and verbal feedback they received.”

"It was an honour to be invited. The volunteers helped to make an impressive impact on the students by sharing their knowledge and expertise. They have benefited tremendously and wish them every success in their future careers,” said Nicola Gregory, Events, Community and Education, Ford Motor Company.
