ELABUGA, Russia – The Ford Sollers Elaguba plant welcomed some very special guests as part of International Children’s Day recently.
Children aged 7-17 were given a guided tour of the facility to discover what their parents do in the work place and to learn about the history of the plant.
After a safety briefing, the guests were given safety glasses and then guided through the welding section, assembly shop floor and quality control zone, finishing off with a display of brand new Ford models.
“There have been many visitors to Ford Sollers Elabuga plant this year, all of them have been impressed by the very high safety standards and exceptional quality of the vehicles produced,” said Mike Warzecha, VP HR and Internal Communications.
It’s no wonder why many new prospective graduates from Kazan State University and Kazan State Technical University seek to have their required internships at the Elabuga plant and strive to get their first job experience there.”
