Ford Argentina hourly employees helped a primary school located 125 km from Ford’s Pacheco Plant.
For almost 10 years, a team of Ford Pacheco Plant Paint Shop workers, have helped a primary school of a small and humble community named Puerto Constanza in the province of Entre Ríos.
They develop fund raising events and many people inside Ford, collaborate with them.
They travel several times a year on weekends, delivering food, clothes, school supplies and even toys for the Christmas season.
This year, as the school building was not in good conditions. The team organized a maintenance journey on Saturday, Nov. 3 to work together with teachers and parents of students in order to repair the school.
They were able to fix many problems and the building was completely painted.
This team named “Paint Shop Solidarity” was honored by the 2011 Ford Diversity and Inclusion Summit.
The award motivated the team to Go Further and to increase their support as well as commitment with the school and other welfare organizations to which they can offer assistance.
