DEARBORN - Ford Motor Company Fund is pleased to announce the winners of this year’s Ford College Community Challenge. Out of many outstanding submissions, nine were selected as winners and will receive a $25,000 grant to implement their project. Each winning proposal identified an innovative way to harness the talent of student leaders in order to build a sustainable community.
The winners are:
Arizona State University – Flash Food
Brown University – Rainwater for Humanity
College for Creative Studies – Art and Urban Farming
Essex County College – Hydroponics Project
Michigan State University – Computing and Technology
University of Michigan – Living Building Challenge
University of Texas at Arlington – UTA Service Learning Anti-Diabetes Campaign
Virginia Commonwealth University – Building Sustainable Transportation in RVA
Wayne State University – SEED Wayne
