During the last three weeks, the Cuautitlán Stamping and Assembly Plant (CSAP), as part of their bi-annual program, completed the following environmental activities with the support and active dedication of plant employees.
As a result, the following were collected during this event:
- 930 Kg of “e-waste”
- 9.0 Kg of expired drugs (haz waste in Mex)
- 67 Kg of used batteries.
All these wastes were sent to authorized companies for recycling or final destruction. It’s important to highlight that this is the fifth time that an “e-waste” week is implemented at CSAP because of excellent results in which employees and workers are invited to provide their household wastes for appropriate recycling.
Finally, employees also participated in their recurrent Planting Tree Campaign. More than 115 new trees were planted at CSAP with their active participation.
The above mentioned activities clearly indicate how CSAP is identifying, implementing and maintaining Go Further environmental actions.
