BUDAPEST, Hungary – Ford’s all-new B-MAX has been helping Santa visit children in need in Hungary in the run up to the festive season.
Hungarian Ford dealer Auto Nexus loaned the B-MAX to Santa for a nine-day whistle stop tour of orphanages, nurseries and childrens hospitals.
It is the seventh year in a row that Ford has helped this real-life Santa Claus, also known as Joulupukki. On the 6th of December, he attended the official opening of Santa Claus Factory charity project in Budapest which Ford dealers in Hungary have been supporting.
“We’re delighted that Joulupukki has visited the opening ceremony of Santa Claus Factory again,” said Ford of Hungary PR manager Zsombor Varga. “It has become one of the biggest charity initiatives in Europe.”
Gifts collected by Ford’s Hungarian dealer network will be transported to the Santa Claus Factory in Budapest using a Ford Transit Custom, winner of the 2013 International Van of the Year award.
