CHICAGO - On Sept., 15, 2013, The United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC) hosted its fourth annual Latino Employee Resource Group Summit and Corporate Challenge in Chicago, Ill. The Ford Hispanic Network (FHN) was honored to be named a finalist. The Summit and Corporate Challenge is an essential component of the USHCC's annual convention and brings together ERGs to share best practices and provide compelling results on the value of Hispanic executives and employees in corporate America. The five corporate finalists competed in four key areas: career advancement of Hispanic professionals, alignment of ERG initiatives and corporate objectives, community involvement and cultural advancement within the company. Congratulations to Johnson and Johnson, who was named by USHCC as the Top Latino ERG. Congratulations to FHN who was named runner-up.
FHN was represented at the competition by the following: Rodney Lopez, Alberto Piccone, Carla Preston and Sam Warnock. One of the unique things that we did was to present "In Three Words." This was a video which highlighted our members and how they would describe FHN in three words.
The team did an outstanding job of highlighting the vital role FHN plays in supporting the One Ford plan – One Team working together!
