Four manufacturing plants in North America have marked a milestone.

Sharonville Transmission Plant, Rawsonville Plant, Woodhaven Stamping Plant and Buffalo Stamping Plant are the first to be approved by Ford and the UAW to begin implementing the new team-based structure at their facilities that was outlined in the 2011 contract negotiations between Ford and the UAW.

PDC/Body Engineering Illustration Retirees meet twice a month at the 4 Friends Bar & Grill (44282 Warren Road; on the North side of Warren Road nestled in a small strip mall just east of Sheldon Road) at 1 p.m. The group mainly consists of illustrators who produced manuals that instructed assembly plants how to assemble Ford car and trucks. Anyone who ever had dealings with our unique artistic provisions etc. are more than welcomed to join the group and enjoy stepping on a path down memory lane! The picnic meeting in June includes picnic style food and games, while the December meeting will have a special lunch, live entertainment and Christmas center pieces to be given away.
