Ford Motor Company Announces Changes to Leadership Team
A note from President and CEO Alan
Lewis Booth and Derrick Kuzak have elected to retire after more than 30 years of service to Ford. Their leadership and vision have helped guide us through the challenges of recent years and establish a firm implementation plan for delivering the full potential of our One Ford plan.
Bob Shanks will succeed Lewis as executive vice president and chief financial officer, and Raj Nair will succeed Derrick as group vice president, Global Product Development, beginning April 1. Succeeding Bob as vice president and Controller is Stuart Rowley. Succeeding Raj as vice president, Engineering, Global Product Development is Hau Thai-Tang.
Separately, we are announcing today that Jon Huntsman, former U.S. ambassador to China, Governor of Utah and a candidate for United States president, has been elected to our Board of Directors. Jon brings to Ford a wealth of knowledge and experience related to Asia, as well as economic growth and job creation.
Working together with these new leaders, the entire leadership team and our Board of Directors, we will continue our progress in delivering great products, building a strong business and contributing to a better world by implementing our One Ford plan, which is unchanged:
One Team. One Plan. One Goal. One Ford.
Below are excerpts from the company's press releases regarding these leadership changes.
