Executive Q&A
Ford Oval

Matt Bradley
Ford and Lincoln Mercury Retail Marketing Manager
Ford Motor Company

About 1,800 Ford dealers will be in Detroit this week for the 2010 Ford Dealer Introduction Show. The company's dealers are critical to Ford Motor Company's drive to sustain its sales and earnings momentum that produced a 2010 first quarter pre-tax profit of $1.2 billion in North America alone. Ford and Lincoln Mercury Retail Marketing Manager Matt Bradley, who has the lead on this year's show, discusses the event with @Ford Online.

Q: What are the highlights of this year's show?
A: It is going to be a very informative and busy day-and-a-half event for dealers, who will arrive in four waves throughout the week. The first activity will be a very extensive ride-and-drive segment on Detroit's Belle Isle, where they will test our newest powertrains and products – Fiesta, Edge, Super Duty, F-150 and Mustang – against key competitors.

There also will be business meetings during which dealers will hear from Ford leadership right up to Alan Mulally and learn about the company's sales and marketing plans for launching our new products, powertrains, and technologies, among other things.

Keeping our dealers informed and engaged is paramount to Ford's success as we journey together to profitable growth for all. We are very appreciative of our dealers and want them to know how much we value our relationship with them.
