As we approach the end of the year, we want to make sure you know about a special auto show preview we will be offering around the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit in early January.
In order to make sure you learn our news FIRST, we will invite up to 250 retirees (each bringing a guest) down to Cobo Arena for a press conference full dress rehearsal and Q&A on Sunday, Jan. 9.
Look for a special Blue Oval Connect e-mail on Jan. 3 to be the first to see how we are fulfilling the promise made in 2010 to develop a new generation of world-class C-cars.

Annual Enrollment Period for Medicare Advantage Customers Ends Dec. 31
Peer Support volunteers will be available to respond to e-mail inquiries at (peer-support@ford-umbrella-group.org) during the holiday week, which is the final week to make enrollment changes involving Medicare Advantage Plans. Retirees wishing to switch plans either into or out of Medicare Advantage Plans for 2011 need to have competed their papers by Dec. 31.
Retirees, who are Medigap policy holders, and are considering switching into a different Medigap plan can do so at any point in the year, possibly subject to insurability questions.
The Peer Support website (http://www.ford-umbrella-group.org) will remain active year-round. Volunteers also will be on duty to respond to e-mail inquiries on Medicare insurance issues after Dec. 31.

Gesture or motion technology employed in today's video game systems is coming to the new seven-passenger Ford C-MAX crossover, designed with families in mind.
The hands-free liftgate is enabled by Intelligent Access with push-button start. This technology allows customers to unlock and start their vehicles without ever having to take out the key. When the key fob is in their possession – kept in a pocket, coat, purse or briefcase – a simple pull on the door handle unlocks the vehicle. 2011 Fiesta Tops Most Searched Car on Google Brazil
Google Brazil has just released the results of its annual search ranking, which included targeted searches in the automotive industry in the country. Topping the 2010 list for the targeted search was the new 2011 Fiesta beating out the Hyundai ix35 and the new Fiat Uno, which were ranked second and third respectively.
