 UAW 1219 loves a parade!

DATE: Will be calculated from "Release Start Date" field.

There was candy. There were bands. There was the UAW 1219.

It all made for a great, fun-filled day as the 2013 edition of the Allen County Labor Day Parade took place Monday, Sept. 2, in Lima.

The Local UAW 1219 had a strong showing in the parade, as UAW leadership, committemen, retired UAW representatives and other UAW honorees displayed many different types of Ford vehicles in the parade. The UAW 1219 Ramp Crew was also present, and showed off their new trailer recently acquired from the national UAW.

Members of the UAW entertained children by throwing loads of candy throughout the parade route. All in all, it was a great day and the UAW 1219 was proud to represent the local contingent.
