Oakville Assembly: Caught At Its Best!

DATE: Will be calculated from "Release Start Date" field.

OAKVILLE - The Catch Me At My Best program is a new program created and launched at Oakville Assembly by Plant Manager Will Cowell.  Oakville Assembly has worked over the past few months to improve relationships among all colleagues across all levels and functions of the plant.

“Fostering positive relationships is the key to success in any workplace.  We work every day to encourage positive and constructive communication among members of the plant. We achieve ‘results through relationships’ and continuously encourage ‘reward and recognition’ and a ‘professional Presence’ in the work place.  This is where the inspiration of the Catch Me At My Best program came from,” said  Cowell.

The new program encourages people to recognize their colleagues for those moments throughout the day that help create a productive, efficient and happy workplace.

It is easy to forget to say “thank you” to our colleagues for the small, but extremely significant, things they do for us every day.  This program makes the “thank you” process fun and easy.

The Catch Me At My Best cards are placed around the facility and are collected by Communications Coach Megan Joakim weekly.  The messages are read aloud by Cowell at the monthly Town Halls held to discuss the priorities at the plant.  At Oakville Assembly its also very important to ‘recognize the recognizer.’

Plant leadership is dedicated to improving reward and recognition throughout the plant and this is just one avenue used to accomplish this.  Oakville is dedicated to continuous improvement of all facets of the production facility and the program helps to highlight people for their important efforts.

Oakville is extremely proud of the new program and excited that the program has really taken off.  Cowell thanks everyone for implementing the program so quickly!
