LIMA, Ohio -- Awwwww...babies.
Who doesn't love a giggling, burping, smiling baby? It's heartbreaking when those babies are born prematurely and fighting for their health their first few months of life.
Unfortunately, premature deaths do happen, making the March of Dimes organization critical to allow for research and funding to help premature babies, as well as their families.
One of the organization's premiere events is right around the corner and employees of Lima Engine have a great opportunity to be a part of it all. The annual March For Babies Walk is taking place Saturday, April 26 in downtown Lima.
There are lots of events planned for walkers and families, including a kid's zone, free lunch and refreshments, as well as a variety of other activities. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and the walk will start at 10 a.m. Lima Engine Plant is sponsoring a team, and all employees are urged to join the team in the fight for premature babies.
