Sahara Horn knows what she wants out of life, and she knows exactly how she is going to get it.
There’s nothing more important to her than family, and she’s doing everything she can to make sure they are financially secure for the future.
For the past several years, Horn has been working at LTP by day, and studying to earn her degree by night.
In May, she was all smiles after receiving her MBA in marketing, and non-profit leadership from Madonna University.
“In 2008, I felt that pursuing a higher education degree would provide stability for my family because the auto industry was uncertain at the time,” said Horn.
Horn, who started her career at LTP in 1999, also has an associate’s degree in business from Wayne County Community College, and a bachelor's degree in business from Northwood University.
Although she would ultimately like to land a job in her career field, Horn enjoys working at LTP and the people around her.
“We work as a team to produce quality main controls for the main line. When an issue arises, we collectively come up with a solution that satisfies everyone,” she said.
In her free time, Horn loves spending time with friends and family, horseback riding, and cheering on the Detroit Tigers!
