DEARBORN -- On July 25th, the Dearborn Tool and Die Plant hosted a blood drive to support the American Red Cross of Southeast Michigan’s need to maintain a healthy blood supply. The plant’s goal was exceeded and a total of 22 pints were collected. Our American Red Cross regional director provided a pair of tickets for Cedar Point to be given to an employee who donated or volunteered their time to make our blood drive a success. Max Bennett’s name was drawn from the pool of donors and volunteers and was presented the tickets on July 30th by Quality/ESSP Rep John Mechanco. On behalf of the Tool and Die Plant, John would like to personally thank all those who either donated or volunteered.
The next blood drive at DTD is Thursday, September 26, 2013.
